Heartstrings
You pull me down,
And I push back up.
I breathe in air,
And cough up blood.
I’m spinning around,
And my feet just won’t touch the ground.
With my head in clouds,
All I can do is fly.
Oh, here you are;
With me where ever I go.
I still can’t believe
In what’s in front of me.
I check back down
With those creatures all around.
I look towards the sky,
And all I can do is fly.
I get pushed around,
Knocked forward and thrashed down.
But I keep pulling through,
Because all I can see is truth.
I have to go fast,
Because to be slow is to fall.
My arms stretched out wide,
All I can do is fly.
Crushing pain with acid tears,
